Anyway, I remember seeing a round egg shaped fruit washed up on shore, it looked good enough to eat.

Oh right! It's the Pirate King Roland's Journal Log! Our Shaitan library once had the Pirate King's log, it was a long long time ago...
It's a pity that our library was broken into before you came. Many navigation related books were stolen, even our Lee family genealogy book! The person in charge of the investigation is Patroller Michael at (958, 3549).
I think that it might be a good idea for you to get more details from him"

Ask Michael at (958, 3549) about the progress of the investigation.

So you'll have to kill him for me. Go north of here to locate his group and bring me the Mark of Desert Overlord which he keeps with him.
I'll tell you everything you need to know once it's done!"

LifeSkill Points until now: 9

Talk again to Franco to activate the next quest.

26) Jack's Pirates

However as they did not create any trouble, we city guards didn't take any action. Lately they started to appear in the southern desert which is weird.
The desert belongs to the Sand Bandits. Can it be that they are changing to becoming bandits? Haha...
For things happening in the desert, you can look for the mysterious Merrix at (1118, 3611). For some reason, she always know the secrets. Rumor has it that she is the secret agent between Thundoria Castle and Shaitan City.
After you exit the city, follow along the coast eastwards and you will find her near a sunken ship."

LifeSkill Points until now: 10

Talk again to Merrix to activate the next quest.

27) Captain Fickle

"I can help you, but Captain Fickle and his pirate henchmen are very dangerous people. I have met them before and I can tell you that Fickle is a uneducated egomaniac who is developing a sinister plot.
There is something unusual about the Fickle Pouch that he always carries seems to be the most important thing to him. Perhaps his quick rise to power has something to do with it.
If you can somehow bring that bag to me, I could figure out his whole plan.
Follow the shoreline eastwards and you will find him. Good luck."

Quest Objective:
Obtain "Fickle Pouch" x1

Walkthrough:

Boss battle. You'll find lvl30 Captain Fickle at (1495, 3431 Magical Ocean). Be careful, as there are lvl30 Jack the Pirate's Sailors near him.

It seems to be that Jack's Pirates are just working on direct orders from 'J'. I wonder who this 'J' is.
I have an idea! Let me forge this letter and you take it around town pretending to have 'picked' it up from nowhere, perhaps you may find this mysterious 'J'."

Quest Objective:

PostSubject: Re: Life Story Quest Guide   Wed Oct 06, 2010 7:55 am

Now, you get the choice of doing a secondary branch of quests as well (Behemoth Escape), which lets you gain an extra LifeSkill Point too. If you're not willing to do this, skip to quest 45 (Ancient Bounty Token).

Note that ending the quest 45 will make end the secondary branch of quests too. (Info from Pol37073)

You'll get to move inside mines in these quests, so here are some useful maps. Remember, Silver Mine is a different place from Abandoned Mine.

A1) Behemoth's Escape

"Sometime ago. I travelled to the faraway land of Autumn Island. I stumbled upon a Behemoth, which could be sold for a handsome price. I also purchased a magical legendary fruit from a mysterious trader.
On the way back, I hid the fruit near the Behemoth's cage. I guess it must have been eaten the priceless fruit and became strong enough to break its prison.
It escaped to the west silver mine and terrorising the miners there. I had to issue a reward for the capture of the beast but alas, no one succeded. The Castle Guard - Peter at (2192, 2767) has also given a try but failed, perhaps he can help you with more details"

Quest Objective:
Look for Peter at (2192, 2767) regarding the situation of the Behemoth.

Walkthrough:
Go talk to Peter in Argent City at (2192, 2767 Ascaron).

"Behemoth? It's a really dangerous beast.
I tried all sorts of traps to capture it but it was too intelligent to take the bait. It even played tricks on me too!"

Reward: 5000 exp, 1700g, 9035 life exp.
LifeSkill Points until now: 16

Talk again to Peter to activate the next quest.

A2) Scary Monsters

"Strangely, this monster likes to eat Granny - Beldi's pasteries. Back then when we were having tea break, it suddenly attacked. We were lucky to escape with minor injuries, but the cakes were all gone."

Quest Objective:
Find Granny - Beldi at (2277, 2769).

Walkthrough:
Go talk to Granny - Beldi at (2277, 2769 Ascaron).

"I love it when my pasteries brighten up people's day. So I keep baking them and it makes me, this old grannynhappy too.
I do heard of a poor old monster that is hiding in a cavern. Do let it know that it can have pasteries if it behaves better will you?"

Reward: 4000 exp, 2000g, 9035 life exp.
LifeSkill Points until now: 16

Talk again to Granny Beldi to activate the next quest.

A3) Granny's Pastries

"Miner Drunky loves the pasteries so much that he bought the whole batch today. So you can't have any sample of it.
But old granny doesn't think he can finish it all. You could find him at the Silver Mine, guess he won't mind to share some."

Quest Objective:
Look for Miner Drunky at (296, 57)

Walkthrough:
Head to Silver Mine lvl2 and talk to Miner Drunky at (296, 57) (see map above)

"You came for Granny Beldi's cake? I'm sorry but I don't have any left. Not that I even had a chance to eat any of it."

Reward: 4000 exp, 2000g, 9035 life exp.
LifeSkill Points until now: 16

Talk again to Drunky to activate the next quest.

A4) Stolen Lunchbox

"It was supposed to be a happy day today as Granny - Beldi has made me so many pastries. I happily packed them into my lunchbox and brought them to work but it was stolen the moment I turned away!
It was a Ninja Mole! I saw it too late, for it has already escaped into the Abandoned Mine. I dare not enter that scary place.
Can you please help me get my lunchbox back? Otherwise... I will not have enough energy to work... These creatures often appear at (229, 28)."

Quest Objective:
Obtain "Beer Belly Lunch" x1

Walkthrough:

Just kill all the lvl38 Ninja Moles around the place until they drop the Beer Belly Lunch.
Then go talk again to Miner Drunky at (296, 57 Silver Mine lvl2)
*Important*
Wait before ending this quest if you aren't ready. Ending this quest will automatically activate the next one, which has a 1 hour time limit from its activation.

"You are my saviour! Hohoho! It's my lunchbox! Thank you so much! This is great!
Come! This Strawberry Biscuit is for you! Remember! Do not ever go to Abandoned Mine 2 to eat the biscuit! There is a monster residing at a corner who loves to attack anybody with tasty biscuits!!!"

Reward: 4500 exp, 2000g, 9035 life exp, 1 LifeSkill Point, 1 Special Strawberry Biscuit.
LifeSkill Points until now: 17

A5) Lure Behemoth

Proceed to Abandoned Mine 2 and find the lair of the Behemoth. When you reached the lair, use the Special Strawberry Biscuit and see what happens.
Once you manage to lure the beast out, please kill him within the hour.

Quest Objective:
Use the Strawberry biscuit to lure the Behemoth.
Hunt "Behemoth" x1

Walkthrough:

Head to the Behemoth Lair in Abandoned Mine lvl2 to face lvl40 Behemoth (132, 135) (see map above).
Actually, the biscuit doesn't summon him, seems like it reduces the damage you get from him if used. Though you'll have to use it in Abandoned Mine lvl2 before beating him.
Remember, you have 1 hour of logged time to defeat him from the moment you activate the quest, after the time has passed, the quest is declared failed.
Don't worry if you do fail. You get no reward, but you can still continue on with the quest "Ancient Bounty Token".
If you manage to defeat him, go back to Miner Drunky at (296, 57 Silver Mine lvl2).

"I cannot believe it! You managed to kill the Behemoth! I am so happy! Now I can enjoy biscuits made by Beldi in peace! Thank you!"

Reward: 2649 exp, 1680g, 9035 life skill EXP
LifeSkill Points until now: 17 (The next ones are valutated considering these extra quests as finished)

45) Ancient Bounty Token

"It's been a long time since last adventurer accepted the hunting request for the Behemoth. I almost forgot about it.
The reward is still valid now. All you have to do is to slay the Behemoth and take their Iron Cuffs here to claim the reward... I don't think that you are strong enough to handle it though."

Quest Objective:
Obtain "Iron Cuffs" x1

Walkthrough:

Head to lvl40 Behemoth's lair in Abandoned Mine lvl2 at (132, 135) (see map above).
His respawn time is of 1 hour, so if you don't find him here just wait for him.
Since it has such a long respawn time, you are invited to not kill him on fun or exp purpose.
Once you get the Iron Cuffs, head back to Ronnie at (2241, 2748 Ascaron).

"You really killed the Beast?!
Here is your reward, spend it wisely."

Reward: 13245 exp, 34464g, 9035 life skill EXP
LifeSkill Points until now: 17

Talk again to Ronnie to activate next quest.

46) Sea Haven

"When I was the captain of a powerful merchant fleet a long time ago, my travels brought me to Autumn Island. The Behemoth we captured from there would bring me a fortune.
On the way back, I stopped by Nine Haven, a person called Andrew sold me rare magical items, claiming that the magical fruit was part of Pirate King Roland's treasures.
Eating the fruit will give you magical powers. I did not believe him but at the point of time, I had a spare 100000g so I bought it as a souvenir.

His name is... Baros! Maybe you can try to look for him and question him. However, there are great dangers in the open sea so be prepared.

By pressing Ctrl+Click on an area close to the sea monster, you can hurt him without being noticed (and counterattacked).
If you chose the right distance from the seamob, you'll fire a cannonball next to him, and he will receive Area of Effect damage.
Press Shift too if you want to go on autofire mode. Though, mobs may move a bit from their position and notice you. If that happens, just right click anywhere to deactivate the Area attack and run, then repeat the process ^^

Since we are near to Spring, why not paying a visit as well? You can put in port your ship at (3409, 2560 Deep Blue).
Harbor Operator - Shuang can repair/refuel your ship and, if you haven't done it yet, you can activate the Language Barrier Quest by talking to the Teleporter Chun Li at (3326, 2511 Deep Blue).
You can talk to the NPCs on Spring Island only by finishing this quest, and it will be needed on later Story Quests.

Once you defeated all the 30 Shadow Mermaids, head back to Clan Chief Albuda in Shaitan City at (897, 3642 Magical Ocean).

"May the goddess bless you. Take my signature and blessing with you. Stay pure and remain true."

Reward: 80000 exp, 10000g, 30000 life skill exp, 1 Refining Gem Voucher, 1 Signature of Clan Chief Albuda.
LifeSkill Points until now: 26
Finally once you have all the 4 signature and the Ancient Key in your inventory, head back to Thundoria and talk with Macurdo at (743, 1534 Ascaron).

"You brought the signature? Let me check whether if it is fake. Hmm... Well done. Can you tell me how you managed to convince those old fools?
Ok... Ok... This is the sheepskin that you want. Don't have to be so worried."

Reward: 1 Will of Andrew.

Double click the Will of Andrew to activate the next quest.

The Life Story Quest ends here for us, the Thundoria Bank quest cannot be completed, so I will not post the rest of the guide.

Once again, this guide has been written by Rohanx, I just posted it here. You can read the original guide here:

The 61th quest, Memento of Andrew isn't bugged, but it is connected to your guilding position: are you in a navy guild, pirate guild or guildless. You will have to complete different quests, depending on your guilding position.

However, if you change your guilding position (leave your current guild, join a guild, etc.) after you have activated the Memento of Andrew (double clicked on it) the whole quest gets messed up and you can't continue.

The Life Story Quest is bugged at Thundoria Bank quest, at the Signature of Navy General William, more precisely. You can obtain that signature, but Macurdo, the banker in Thundoria Castle, does not "recognize" it, the system encounters an error when it is supposed to take it from the inventory, and the quest can't be completed.

The Memento of Andrew quest isn't bugged, it completes. The Thundoria Bank quest is the one which is bugged.

You say you tried it as a member of pirate guild, a navy guild and being guildless. You did it with 3 different characters?

Because if not, if you tried with the same character, then you yourself bugged it when you changed your guilding position.

If you were in a pirate guild when you activated the quest and then joined another pirate guild then the quest gets messed up. It doesn't matter that you joined in another pirate guild, what matters is that you changed from being in a pirate guild to being guildless, before joining another pirate guild.

I did the Life Story Quest with several characters, didn't have problems with the Memento of Andrew quest, only with the Thundoria Bank quest, with the Signature from Navy General William, more precisely.

So, you did the quest with 3 different characters? With one which was in a pirate guild, with another which was in a navy guild and the 3rd which was guildless and you couldn't complete the Memento of Andrew quest with either of those 3?

Hm... I did the Life Story Quest with several characters, on few servers, and didn't had problems with the Memento of Andrew quest, only with the Thundoria Bank quest.

Don't know why you couldn't complete the Memento of Andrew quest. But, once you changed your guilding position, after failing to complete the quest while you were in pirate guild, you had no chance of completing that quest anymore.

Well, if you are so eager to do the Life Story Quest until the end then let's test it. Do it with another character and take screen shots of the Memento of Andrew quest when you get to it and it doesn't completes. I will do the same, with a normal character, and we can try to find where the problem is.

Why not do it? Even though the quest ends at Thundoria Bank Quest, and not at the Will of Andrew, it is still fun to do it and you can always use the Life Skill Points.

If the quest gets fixed then I am sure all who show proof of getting stuck at that specific quest will get technical assistance to complete their quest.
